Our luggage patiently awaits the plane’s arrival. This is the all of the checked luggage for all of the passengers who boarded with me. (The white bucket and the black tote are mine.)

We know you’re in sync with the culture when you are checking a white bucket.
Last time John flew, someone checked a giant jackfruit as luggage. Why not, I guess.
The bucket was actually our landlord’s. It was full of dried/smoked/baked ngali nuts to bring to his daughter in Honiara.
Now I can smile even more about the pictures and the comments!
